EnSuite-Lite has viewers for all commonly used CAD formats. Even better, you do not need CAD software or licenses to view any of the supported file types. Viewers are currently available for CATIA V4, CATIA V5, CATIA V6 (3dxml), SolidWorks, NX, Pro/E (Creo), Solid Edge, Inventor, Rhino, JT, Parasolid. EnSuite-Cloud ReVue is a free cloud-based viewer & collaboration product for multi-CAD data including CATIA, NX, Creo, SOLIDWORKS, Inventor and more. No CAD licenses required! On the other hand, if the CAD-related application reads Parasolid files, you’d be better off using the Parasolid file directly; and if the CAD-related application is actually based on the Parasolid geometric modeling kernel, such as is the case with Mastercam and many other solutions, there’s even more reason to avoid STEP, and use only the Parasolid file. The free Solid Edge Viewer allows you to interactively view Solid Edge 3D models and drawings. Rotate, pan, and zoom 3D CAD models, and save images and email them as needed to provide an efficient.

Due to the common geometry engine, the ADINA Modeler provides a natural interface to all Parasolid-based CAD systems. The ADINA User Interface can communicate directly with the Parasolid data structure. This means that any pre-processing command that requires geometric information, e.g., meshing, accesses the exact geometric data. Also, boundary conditions and loads can be applied directly to the geometry.
